01Tool life & cutting

Less abrasion, longer between sharpenings

Plywood / hardwood

Blades and bits dull faster against abrasive wood grain, natural knots, uneven silica resin and internal voids. Frequent blade resharpening increases workshop downtime and cost per sheet.

VS

TORVIS Polymer Marine Ply

Uniform, resin-free cellular composite structure keeps carbide tool teeth sharp for 3× longer production runs. Produces clean, crisp cuts with zero splintering or tear-outs on veneer layers.

02Workshop Advantages

Engineered to fit into your existing carpentry workflow

01

Standard tools

Use your regular circular saws, table saws, jigsaws, planers, and hand routers without investing in specialized tooling.

02

Strong screw holding

Calibrated core density provides >1500 N screw withdrawal strength. Compatible with parallel-thread drywall and wood screws.

03

Easy lamination & edge-banding

Bonds effortlessly with standard PVC edge-banding tapes, contact adhesives, PU glues, and cyanoacrylate fast-curing adhesives.

04

High-speed CNC machining

Cuts intricate decorative jali patterns, multi-boring hinge holes, and 3D architectural relief panels with smooth, burr-free edges.

03Best Practices

Quick tips for best fabrication results

Saw blade selection

For the cleanest edge finish, use carbide-tipped (TCT) blades with 60 to 80 teeth and a high rake angle for smooth chip evacuation.

Fastener recommendations

Use parallel thread twinfast screws. For 12mm to 18mm boards, ensure a minimum screw penetration of 25mm into the mating piece.

Finishing & polishing

Sand lightly with 320–400 grit before applying acrylic paints, PU primers, or high-gloss coatings for mirror-smooth surfaces.
